🎭 "You don't explore the universe - you orbit around the star."
As I outlined in my recent post on the emergence of "Titanic Culture" (link in first comment), this new organizational paradigm fundamentally transforms how we think about professional roles.
In Titanic Culture organizations, I expect/predict that traditional roles will lose their meaning. Managers, strategists, and developers will find themselves in a strange position. Their expertise will matter less than their ability to amplify the hero's vision. Competence becomes secondary to proximity to power.
The new organizational reality: Technical skills ≠ Career advancement Strategic thinking ≠ Decision-making authority Years of experience ≠ Institutional influence
Instead, success depends on: ✨ How well you defend the hero's vision and decisions ✨ Your ability to execute without questioning ✨ Your skill at becoming an extension of the myth without taking away any spotlight
This might create a peculiar workplace dynamic where being right matters less than being aligned. Where independent thinking can actually become a liability.
Have you experienced similar dynamics already, and/or would you agree that this level is something we haven't seen before?
